Something must have gotten lost in the translation

Something must have gotten lost in the translation, because Brent and I just read Maggie's medical report and she is 9.4 kilograms, not 8.4 kilograms, which means that she is 20.5 pounds and she IS the biggest baby in the group! That makes much more sense because she is easily the heaviest!!!

Lisa, glad to hear Maggie is doing well . I am sure she will start taking solids when she is ready. Many of the babies in our group were also not taking anything but bottles while in China but are now all working on a variety of solids (finger fed and spoon fed) so don;t stress while there. The main thing is she is getting her daily required nutrients in her formula. Can't wait to hear what you guys did today.

Lisa,

I just love reading your blog and following you along on your journey. I'm sure once Maggie starts eating, you will wonder where she puts it all. I guess the change is a little tough on the children as well as you guys. I'm sure once Maggie gets home with her big sis and watches every move she makes, she won't be long following in her footsteps.

Maybe Maggie is waiting to come home to Newfoundland to have a good feed of veggies with gravy. She might be joining you for Easter dinner....ha..

Keep writing and sending lots of pictures.

Wow - Brooklyn will be 2 next week and she is only 24 pounds (she weighted herself this morning and I think she stepped on the scales correctly) - Maggie is a big baby. Brooklyn is petite like he Mommy though...

Only 4 more sleeps...

Hi guys,
Glad to hear all is going well. We've been following your progress and are looking forward to seeing the babies on Friday.
We are busy getting the order for the NLFAM t-shirts off to the supplier. Can you ask if any of the families wanted to order? I know that the Lynch family did but I don't think they placed their order and this is it for the t-shirts!
thanks,
Lynn

Hi Lynn,

Do you mind giving us some information on the t-shirts. We are the family of Cathy Roche and Lily and we didn't know about this. You can email me at kellyrumsey@esdnl.ca

Thanks for any information.
