Lisa, Brent & Gracie,

Trudy told us the wonderful news today and we are all overjoyed for you here at CNA-HR. While we only know each other a little, your story has touched us all and we know how long you have all waited. So many wonderful things have come to you out of the trouble, just shows that all good things come to those who wait. It's just unfortunate that you went through so much. The fantastic thing is now that you can all move towards a great life together as a family!! Congratulations to you all, and I know Maggie and Gracie are blessed to have you both as their parents!

Congratulations! We are from B.C. and in July '05 we picked up our daughter Chen Wan Qing (Shaeli) from the Chenzhou Welfare Institute a Half the Sky Foundation. She had just turned nine months when we got her. We were very impressed with this institute as all the girls showed good social development. Our group of 10 (5 from N.S.) found the the girls all bounded very quickly with very little difficulty. Shaeli was physically underdeveloped (weighed less than what they said), and could barely sit up, but she developed very quickly. We are in the process for dd#2. I have to keep reminding myself it is well worth the wait! ENJOY this very special experience.
We were allowed to keep Shaeli's Gotcha Day clothes, they gave us the clothes she was found in and pictures of her (one taken on the day she was found). We sent a package with a disposable camera and the nannies took pictures of her and her room mates, and the orphanage. You are welcome to meet Shaeli on our blogspot http://northernupdates.blogspot.com
